What does your job with AEGON involve?
I'm involved in the administration of company pension schemes, and much of this involves resolving issues with premiums and funds.

What do you like best about it?
I really like the investigative angle of my job, and I get a lot of satisfaction from sifting through lots of detailed information that goes way back so we can get it absolutely right for the customer.

What do you think makes you good at it?
I've got a lot of patience for detailed work like this and am happy to spend the time raking through complex matters with a fine tooth comb!

How can you use this strength to benefit/help our members?
I'm very tenacious and where members come to me with tricky, complicated problems, I'm more than happy to get stuck in and help them - I don't leave any stone unturned.

What's the most important thing about being a union Rep as far as you're concerned?
It's really important to stand up for people's rights and be the voice of those who can't always speak for themselves. Many employees don't know their rights and entitlements so it's vital they have someone on their side to help them.
