Sales Support (Access Pre Sales)

What does your job with AEGON involve?
My job involves providing support IFAs, Access Consultants, and various head office departments. We deal with all the pre sales activity involving quotations, literature and information.

What do you like best about it?
I enjoy dealing with different types of people and building good working relationships with them. It's also very rewarding when we get business due to this.

What do you think makes you good at it?
I thik I'm adaptable to change, which helps in a sales invironment. I also enjoy problem solving, which I practise on a daily basis to find solutions for clients. I feel I'm a good listener, which helps build rapport with our IFAs.

How can you use this strength to benefit/help our members?
I feel I can voice concerns effectively and will always to any issues members may have.

What's the most important thing about being a union Rep as far as you're concerned?
My area recently went through major changes on the back of Blueprint adn we had no Aegis Rep here at the time. Due to these changes I volunteered so our views could be voiced in future. I feel the most important things about being a union Rep are to be supportive, approachable, and non-judgemental.
