Corporate Account Manager

What does your job with AEGON involve?
I'm a Corporate Account Manager which is a sales consultant role in the corporate area. In a nutshell, I try to persuade IFAs that AEGON has the best proposition and is the best place for their clients' corporate business.

What do you like best about it?
The challenge that every case brings and the chance to get out of the office to meet people regularly.

What do you think makes you good at it?
I get on pretty well with most people and I do what I say I'll do.

How can you use this strength to benefit/help our members?
I think I have empathy with most people. I have over ten years' experience in the company so I can relate to a lot of people and be a good liaison between sales and Aegis.

What's the most important thing about being a union Rep as far as you're concerned?
Helping to ensure that the members' voices are heard, whether that's in disciplinary meetings, consultations, general issues and any other work the union does. The challenge is to make people aware of that.
