What does your job with AEGON involve?
Managing scheme implementation means I workwith employers, corporate advisers and consultancies, project managing the implementation of their corporate pension schemes.

What do you like best about it?
I love working with people to get the job done and provide the very best service we can for our customers. Being able to look after a case from implementation to handover is great and I get a lot of satisfaction from achieving good feedback from clients.

What do you think makes you good at it?
I am easy-going and a good listener. However, that said, I'm a stickler for paying attention to detail and I like to get the job done right first time.

How can you use this strength to benefit/help our members?
I've worked for AEGON for over eight years, starting in the Contact Centre in head office then sales support in Manchester, and now in London Corporate Solutions. I've got a lot of experience of the business which enables me to give a lot of practical help and advice to our members.

What's the most important thing about being a union Rep as far as you're concerned?
It's vital to be there for our members and provide support and advice whether formally or informally. Our job is to make sure Aegis members are treated fairly at work and really understand the value of their membership.
